“Al-Asfar al-Arba’ah” is Mulla Sadra’s most important philosophical work in al-Ḥikmat al-Muta’aliya. The ninth volume of this important book (Remnant of the fourth journey; regarding the soul), discusses exclusively about the hereafter (Ma’ad).

Shaykh Dr. Abdullah al-As’ad has written the transcripts of Ayatollah Haydari’s commentary on this volume of Asfar al-Arba’a and compiled it into 6 volumes (2839 pages).

The book starts with a 17-page introduction written by Allama Haydari.
