The office of Ayatollah Sayed Kamal al-Haydari announces that Friday, 18^th Sep 2020 will be the first of Safar 1442 A.H.

The scientific and astronomic calculations show that the Geocentric New Moon (الاقتران المركزي) will occur on Thursday 17th Sep 2020 at 11:00 GST.

According to the below image, moon sighting is possible with telescope in several parts of North and South America at the evening of 17^th Sep 2020.
