However, products which are made from animals whose blood does not gush, such as insects, is Tahir (pure). Similarly items which are made from the lifeless parts of an animal, such as wool, hair, fur, teeth bones, whiskers, beaks, nails, horns, cotton etc. are pure and there is no difference whether these items are from animals whose meat is Halal or not and it will only be considered Najis when it comes into contact with wetness.
