Istifta'at

One of my friends is completely male from a biological and physical aspect. But he acts like a girl in terms of his behavior, way of thinking, speaking, tone of voice, dress code and make up (e.g. applying Kohl). How should I interact with him? Because I had read somewhere that it is abominable and shameful to greet such people.

If medically he is a man, then the rulings for men apply to him.
