1. If a person designates a prize which he will give to the winner of a football competition (like a cup or cash) in the event that one of the participating teams wins, is this prohibited? Meaning, for example there are 5 to 10 teams and the prize will be given to the winning team. Therefore, what is the ruling about the designated prize and the giver of the prize participating in the competition? 2. Someone is a player for a football team and earns his salary in this way. This team participates in competitions and throughout the competitions there are people that place bets on the teams. For example, some bet on team A, others on team B. As a result, whoever predicts correctly, will get the money. However, our question is not about the betting which we are aware is prohibited. The question is regarding the person that plays for this team. What is the ruling regarding him playing for that team? He only gets his salary and does not bet. Also, all the viewers do not place bets, only a few viewers are involved in this act. 3. Is betting in educational competitions permissible or not?
